IDA Thiruvalla was inaugurated by the then Hon. Minister of Transport Shri. Mathew T Thomas on 7th December 2008 in the presence of the then officials of IDA Kerala State: President Dr. Prathap Kumar, President Elect Dr.Samuel K Ninan and Hon.Secretary Dr. Antony Thomas. Charter President was Dr. Thomas Eapen and Hon. Secretary Dr. Binoy Mathews N. The branch started with 77 members.
